Daniel O'Donnell's fortune wasn't too badly affected by his massive spend on Room to Improve

LAST MONTH, A new series of Room to Improve kicked off.

Dermot Bannon headed to Kincasslagh in Donegal to help Daniel and Majella O’Donnell build a home they could be proud of. Despite being worth €31 million, Daniel O’Donnell was living in a home that looked like this:

We got to see a whole new side to Daniel O’Donnell as he became irate with Dermot’s planned budget. Seriously. Daniel was in the height of it.

Well, The Sunday Times have just revealed the 20 richest Irish entertainers of 2018, and it seems that Daniel had absolutely nothing to worry about. He’s still in 20th place, with the very same fortune of €31 million that he had around this time last year.

Here’s a little look at the Irish celebrities ahead of Wee Daniel this year.

  1. U2 are worthy a combined €647 million (more than €2 million than last year).
  2. Producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey are worth €443 million (which is €16 million less than last year).
  3. Michael Flatley is worth €230 million (he has lost just €5 million since last year).
  4. Owners of MCD Denis Desmond and Caroline Downey are worth €202 million (€3 million more than last year).
  5. Music manager Paul McGuinness is worth €143 this year (increasing his fortune by €1 million, in the last year)
  6. Enya is worth €118 million (€1 million more than last year).
  7. Liam Neeson is worth €113 million.
  8. Paul Anderson is worth €99 million.
  9. Riverdance’s Moya Doherty and John McColgan are worth €92 million (€5 million more than last year).
  10. Cinema moguls Paul and Mary Ward are worth €92 million (an increase of €3 million)
  11. Author Jack Higgins is still worth €73 million.
  12. Pierce Brosnan is worth €72 million.
  13. Van Morrison is worth €63 million (an increase of €1 million).
  14. Daniel Day-Lewis and Rebecca Miller are worth €56 million (up €1 million since last year).
  15. Niall Horan’s worth €52 million this year (an increase of €8 million on last year’s fortune).
  16. Bob Geldof is worth €42 million (after losing €7 million in the past year).
  17. Chris de Burgh is worth €41 million (an extra €1 million since last year).
  18. Colin Farrell has also hit the €41 million mark this year (with an increase of €1 million).
  19. Graham Norton is worth €38 million (€2 million more than last year).
  20. And finally, Daniel O’Donnell is in 20th place with his €31 million.
